On the morning of 24th February, SCNU President Professor Yang Zhongmin and the Vice President Liu Jianwen led the team to investigate Foshan Campus of SCNU, listened to the work report of implimentation of the Initialitve of building an international education demonstration zone in Foshan Campus of SCNU.
The Report meeting was chaired by Foshan Campus Management Committee Director Professor Zhao Lingzhi. The dean of International Business College Professor Wu Jianli, the director of Office of International Exchange and Cooperation of SCNU Associate Prof. Tan Wei hong, the dean of Undergraduate School of SCNU Prof. Zhang Xuebo, and the deans and vice deans of relevant Schools of Foshan Campus joined the meeting.
The vice dean of Aberdeen Insitutite of SCNU Chen Huan reported the 2025 work plan of implimentation for the Initialitve of building an international education demonstration zone in Foshan Campus of SCNU. The goal is to build Foshan Campus of SCNU into an international education demonstration zone with distinctive characteristics by building a high-level "new engineering, internationalization and new business" education system from 2025 to 2030.
Vice President Liu Jianwen stressed that the construction of the international education demonstration zone of Foshan Campus needs a clear timetable and roadmap, pay attention to the integration of superior resources, broaden cooperation channels, strengthen the organization and leadership, and hold regular meetings to evaluate and adjust the action plan.
President Yang Zhongmin fully affirmed the work of Foshan Campus on internationalization, and believed that the internationalization construction work of Foshan Campus has a clear direction, clear thinking and effective measures.
At the meeting, President Yang and Vice President Liu conducted in-depth exchanges with the leaders of the schools and the departments, and gave guidance on the specific implementation of the work plan of the international education demonstration zone.
