3月28日上午，澳大利亚昆士兰大学理学部国际处主任李露（Grace）来访佛山校区，就两校开展中外合作办学、中外联合培养、留学生来华短期交流等合作开展交流洽谈。国际商学院院长吴剑丽、副院长员巧云，佛山校区管委会教学与国际事务办公室主任，阿伯丁数据科学与人工智能学院副院长陈欢、副院长柴少明，电子科学与工程学院院长韩鹏、副院长张涵、宋晖副教授及国际交流合作处交流科科庞沁宜出席工作会议，双方就推进两校国际教育合作达成多项重要共识。
会上，陈欢介绍了佛山校区国际教育示范区建设规划及佛山校区总体情况。吴剑丽表示双方可在拓展中外联合培养项目基础上，推进昆士兰大学荣誉学士学位与华南师大国际化拔尖人才培养直博项目合作，并提出双方共同申报中外合作办学机构的可行性。员巧云提出国际商学院数字经济、大数据管理与应用与昆士兰大学理学部开展本硕连读人才培养模式。双方对开展中外联合培养合作，并启动中外合作办学的协商洽谈表示高度认可，并探讨了下一阶段的工作计划。
在工学部与理学部专业对接工作会议上，韩鹏提出我校电子信息工程、通信工程与澳方量子技术、数学与人工智能等专业的合作对接方案，双方同意开展新兴交叉学科建设合作，以此为合作基础拓展中外合作办学。

此外，双方就留学生短期来华项目合作达成共识，华南师大面向昆士兰大学师生定制型开展为期四周的"GBA Discovery"短期留学生来华项目，促进双方师生交流。
On March 28th, Grace Li, Director of International Office of the Faculty of Science of UQ, visited Foshan Campus and had meeting with Dean of International Business College (IBC) Wu Jianli, and Vice Dean of the IBC Yun Qiaoyun, Director of the Office of Teaching and International Affairs of Foshan Campus Management Committee and Vice Dean of Aberdeen Institute Chen Huan, Vice Dean of the Aberdeen Institute Chai Shaoming to carry out exchanges and negotiation on the cooperation in Articulation Programs and the potential project of running Sino-foreign Joint education Program and Institute between the two universities, and short-term study tour program for students from Faculty of Science of UQ. Grace Li also met with the Dean of the School of Electronic Science and Engineering Han Peng, Vice Dean Zhang Han, Associate Professor Song Hui, to deliberate on the topics joint cultivation of undergraduate and postgraduate programs with the model of 3+2 articulation programs. Both sides reached a number of important consensus on exploring Sino-foreign joint education program.
